We are based in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area and we will travel. Our band members have played all over the U.S. and Canada - and the world. Our 110 years' worth of combined experience runs the gamut - from concert hall to club and cabaret, public library to military base, First Night to Torah dedication and kumsitz, catering hall to Carnegie Hall, and nursing home to house party. We pledge to abide by social-distance protocols (or even play over the phone!) during the pandemic.
So, if ...
Q: We want a bigger band than a trio.
A: No problem. We can invite other quality musicians - bass, fiddle, trombone - just ask...
Q: Will you play as a duo?
A: Yes.
Q: Can you provide a singer?
A: Yes. Psachya is a wonderful singer - and has even released several albums on which he sings (see "the musicians" for details)
Q: Do you play other styles?
A: Yes. Psachya is a master of Yeshivish/pop Hasidic rep; David plays myriad numbers of styles, we can play some swing - and augment the band to play...well, almost anything.
Q: We're a non-profit - can we afford you?
A: We try to work within your budget.
Q: Can you handle a wedding with 500 guests?
A: Yes.
Q: Will our guests be able to hear each other talking?
A: Yes! Although most venues require amplification in order that the music be heard, We are sensitive to the needs of our clients and audiences.
Q: Will you play a house party?
A: Yes.
